New Beginnings

It has been a long, hard, painful 3 years but I am glad to be back blogging and working. Long story short, 2010 I started living the creative life full time. In Nov. 2011 mystery pains started in my legs. After many Dr.s and tests came the MRI in May 2012 which sent me to the spine Dr. in June 2012. The diagnosis was a bulging disc between 2 thinning discs. Off to the pain clinic where the Dr. notices much more is going on. She sent me to the Rhuematologist. In July 2012 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Now comes the shots in the spine and medication trials to see what works, what doesn't, and what reacted horribly with the other meds I was on. Hard couple of years but I made it. Then after we get everything seemingly on an even keel, My feet and ankles swell and are incredibly painful to where some days I couldn't walk. The pain Dr. knows there is something more going on. Back to the Rhuematologist, and in July 2014 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis. More meds to try, more pain, and still on that trial run, I have an MRI on my back to see if anything has changed so maybe I can stop the spine shots. I was then diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. It seems that in 2012 the warranty on my body has started to give out, hahaha, and I am not even 50 yet!!! But I know one thing for sure, that NONE of these diseases can take away my God given gifts and talents! A long time ago, shortly after I was blessed with fibro, I made a promise to show up to my life no matter how painful it was. Even if it is for 15 minutes on the hard days. I was going to show up to my life and do something creative. So I do everyday and I love it!!
So here is to new beginnings! To starting the creative life over and living the dream. I am excited for this journey and am glad you are here with me!!
